City Of Victoria
Gate of Harmonious Interest

Victoria, BC. has the oldest and most intact Chinatown in Canada.   Recently the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, City of Victoria, and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Society unveiled a plaque designating Victoria's Chinatown as a National Historic District.  The plaque unveiling was part of a day long public celebration featuring Dragon Dancers, speeches, music and food.  A video produced by Best Color Video documented the occasion for the stakeholders, and provided a record for the Canadian National Archives.
