| Victoria, BC. has the oldest and most intact Chinatown in Canada. Recently the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, City of Victoria, and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Society unveiled a plaque designating Victoria's Chinatown as a National Historic District. The plaque unveiling was part of a day long public celebration featuring Dragon Dancers, speeches, music and food. A video produced by Best Color Video documented the occasion for the stakeholders, and provided a record for the Canadian National Archives. |
